President Barack Obama was a very special guest on Tuesday night's "Tonight Show," where he and Jay Leno spoke about everything from Obamacare, Trayvon Martin, to the global travel warning and Russia's anti-gay laws.
Leno opined that he could not believe that homosexuality being against the law in Russia is not a bigger story.
"I have no patience for countries that try to treat gays or lesbians or transgender persons in ways that intimidate them or are harmful to them," Obama told Leno.

"Now, what's happening in Russia is not unique," he continued, admitting that his recent experiences in Africa with a similar situation made "for some uncomfortable press conferences."
He did make it clear that the law would not be tolerated if applied to athletes during the Olympics, saying, "If Russia wants to uphold the Olympic spirit, then every judgment should be made on the track or in the swimming pool or on the balance beam and people's sexual orientation shouldn't have anything to do with it."

The conversation naturally steered towards the universal healthcare discussion, which kicks off Oct. 1.
Obama said he not only believes his system will be less expensive, but it will also protect consumers.
"We put in place a law so that insurance companies have to spend 80 percent of your premiums on health care, and if they spend it on administrative costs and high CEO salaries they have to send you a rebate," Obama said.

Leno praised the president's public remarks regarding the George Zimmerman trial verdict, saying that he could tell the comments came from the heart.
Obama responded by expressing how troubled he felt, and the heartache he understood inherently as a father.
"It doesn't mean that Trayvon was a perfect kid," Obama said. "None of us were."
"When you're a teenager, especially a teenage boy, you're going to mess up, and you won't always have the best judgment," he continued. "But what I think all of us agree to is that we should have a criminal justice system that's fair, that's just."
