It’s Really Easy for Kimmel to Convince People President Obama Will Serve Third Term (Video)

Nice thought for some, except there’s that pesky thing called the Constitution

Jimmy Kimmel debuted a new edition of “Lie Witness News,” in which his team on the street asked people what they thought of President Barack Obama’s announcement he would be seeking a third term.

The only problem with that? The 22nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution specifically says that no one can serve more than two terms as President.

One man claimed that he watched Obama make the announcement on TV with his mother, and that he had to calm her down afterwards.

Another man almost figured out the joke. He asked Kimmel’s team if president’s can only serve two terms. When they told him it’s “two or three,” he was ecstatic. “Oh my God, I need to call some people real quick because everyone is gonna be happy!” the man said.
