Funeral services for Hollywood legend Tony Curtis were held today in Las Vegas.
The public burial was at the Green Valley location of Palm Mortuary, followed by a private reception for 200 invited guests at Luxor Hotel and Casino.
Curtis' daughter, actress Jamie Lee Curtis, spoke at the funeral. Though the two were estranged for many years, they eventually reconciled.
"All of us got something from him. I, of course, got his desperate need for attention," she said.
California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger also attended, along with over 400 other guests. Schwarzenegger was called to the front of the room for an impromptu speech. He recalled comparing notes on accents with the Bronx-born actor.

Curtis' widow Jill delivered the eulogy. "He was, as one fan put it, a once-in-a-lifetime man," she said.
Investor Kirk Kerkorian, actor Kirk Douglas and singer Phyllis McGuire were among the honorary pallbearers.
Douglas co-starred with Curtis in the 1960 historical epic "Spartacus."
A video tribute to Curtis played as guests entered, highlighting his varied roles, from Antoninus in "Spartacus" to an animated version of himself named Stony Curtis in "The Flintstones."
The 85-year-old Oscar nominee was the star of such films as "The Defiant Ones" and "Sweet Smell of Success." He is perhaps best known for his part as the cross dressing jazz musician on the run from the mob in 1959's "Some Like It Hot."
Curtis' career veered off track in the late 60's following the collapse of the studio system that had created him.

The actor was buried with some of his favorite possessions, including a S
tetson hat, an Armani scarf, driving gloves, an iPhone and a copy of his favorite novel, "Anthony Adverse,"which inspired his stage name.
Curtis was born Bernard Schwartz in the Bronx in 1925. He died Wednesday of cardiac arrest.
