“Quantico” has been renewed for a third season, TheWrap has learned.

Creator Joshua Safran will step down as showrunner next season, though he will remain on board as a consultant. A search for his replacement is currently underway.

“Thank you for watching. It’s been an honor and a pleasure creating for you. Our beautiful finale airs tonight, then it’s onto other dreams!” Safran wrote on Twitter.

The news comes the day before ABC will unveil its fall schedule at its upfront presentation to advertisers. “Quantico” was the final show awaiting a decision from the network after the family comedies “Speechless” and “Fresh Off the Boat” were renewed on Friday.

The network has also renewed “Black-ish,” “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “Once Upon a Time,” “Designated Survivor” and “American Housewife,” and given two-season extensions to both “Modern Family” and “The Goldbergs.” The Shondaland trio of “Grey’s Anatomy,” “How to Get Away With Murder” and “Scandal” were renewed earlier this year, as was “The Middle.”

“The Real O’Neals” and “The Catch” have been given the axe, joining “Imaginary Mary,” “Secrets and Lies,” “Dr. Ken” and “American Crime.” Previously, the network canceled the Tim Allen sitcom “Last Man Standing” after six seasons.
