Queen Latifah is playing dress up on the Halloween episode of her syndicated talk show. And, she’s wise to take a cue from Oprah Winfrey — one of the great women of all time who she’ll honor on Thursday’s episode.
“The #QLShow ‘Halloween Fit for a Queen’ celebration had to include the “Queen of Talk” @Oprah!” Latifah wrote on Twitter.
She can only hope to have the same staying power in her second stab at daytime TV that Oprah Winfrey enjoyed for two decades.

Whoever sourced the costume for Latifah should get a raise. She adapts “final season Winfrey” with the curly wig and red power suit. But, that’s not all. She also reenacts the famous “You have a car” giveaway in which the talk show maven gave each audience member a new ride.
She even warns the audience not to shake their boxes and, of course, Winfrey’s extended bellow.

In the spirit of Winfrey’s famous ratings gimmick, the preview stops just as her audience opens their box… But, you don’t have to tune in to find out if it’s a trick or a treat: Anything less than a car is a trick.
