Rachel Weisz Might Get Wicked in ‘Oz’

The Oscar-winner would star with James Franco and Mila Kunis in the Walt Disney movie

Margaret Hamilton, eat your heart out.

The most recent version of "The Wizard of Oz," Disney's "Oz, The Great and Powerful," looks like it'll have the hottest witches on the big screen.

Rachel Weisz, "The Lovely Bones's" lovely Abigail Salmon, is in talks to join Mila Kunis in Sam Raimi's "Oz" picture, TheWrap has confirmed.

James Franco stars as the Wizard.

Rumor has it that Blake Lively will round out the trio of witches as Glinda, the Good Witch. Kunis has the part a green-tinged Margaret Hamilton made famous in the 1939 MGM classic.

Weisz won the best supporting actress Academy Award for her role as Tessa Quayle in 2005's "The Constant Gardener."

Disney's movie is a prequel to the beloved musical, and tells the story of how the wizard got to Oz and ended up ruling the place.

Joe Roth is producing the movie, which is slated to be released in 2013.

Weisz is repped by CAA, London's Independent Talent Group and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
