Ramon Rodriguez Cast as Bosley in ‘Charlie’s Angels’ Revamp

TV Guide.com reports that the ‘Transformers’ actor is morphing into the Angels’ new liaison.

The new "Charlie's Angels" have found their Bosley.

Ramon Rodriguez, who portrays alien conspiracy buff Leo Spitz in Paramount's "Transformers" mega-franchise,will take on the role of the female detectives' liaison to their mysterious employer, Charlie, in the TV revamp of "Charlie's Angels," according to TVGuide.com.

The role was popularized in the original '70s series by David Doyle.

Rodriguez, 31, joins a cast that already included former "Friday Night Lights" actress Minka Kelly, "General Hospital" regular Annie Ilonzeh and "Transformers" actress Rachael Taylor as the title sleuths.

Veteran actor Robert Wagner is rumored to be on board as Charlie, who was portrayed by John Forsythe, and whose face never seen on screen in the original series.

The revamped series, which like its predecessor will run on ABC, is being co-executive produced by Drew Barrymore, who starred in the "Charlie's Angels" movies. The pilot will begin production in February.
