Ben Queen will write and executive produce the project, which will follow a couple from first meeting to breakup
Rashida Jones might be winding up her run on “Parks and Recreation,” but she doesn’t intend to end her working relationship with NBC: Jones and her “Celeste & Jesse Forever” costar Will McCormack have landed a relationship comedy at NBC with a put-pilot commitment.
The half-hour, single-camera project, “A to Z” will be executive produced by Jones and McCormack. Ben Queen, who wrote the “Cars 2” screenplay and the “Drive” miniseries that ran on Fox, is writing the project, as well as executive producing.
“A to Z” is described as a romantic comedy that will follow a relationship between a young couple, comprehensively, from meeting to breakup, over the course of a season.
Jones and McCormack’s Le Train Train is producing in association with Warner Bros. Television.
