Ratings: CBS Wins as ‘Idol’ Hits Another Low

NBC’s “Community” matches a series low

CBS topped Thursday as Fox’s “American Idol” fell to a new series low.

“Idol,” got a 2.4 rating in the key demo the past two Thursdays. Last night, it fell to a 2.2.

CBS was first in ratings with a 2.7/8 rating in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and first in viewers with an average of 10.7 million, according to preliminary numbers.

“The Big Bang Theory” at 8 p.m. was the highest-rated and most-watched show of the night, pulling in a 5.2/17 and 17.9 million viewers. “The Millers” at 8:30 got a 3.0/9 and 11.8 million viewers. “Two & a Half Men” at 9 received a 2.7/8 and 10.5 million viewers. “The Crazy Ones” at 9:30 got a 1.7/5 — tying a low — and 7.1 million viewers. “Elementary” a 10 had a 1.7/5 and 8.5 million viewers.

ABC was second in ratings with a 2.1/6 and third in viewers with 6.58 million. “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland” at 8 got a 0.8/3 — tying a low — and 3.1 million viewers. “Grey’s Anatomy” at 9 had a 2.6/7 and 8.2 million viewers. “Scandal” at 10 received a 2.8/8 and 8.4 million viewers.

Fox was third in ratings with a 1.5 and second in viewers with 6.64 million. “American Idol” at 8 had a 2.2/7 and 9.7 million viewers. “Rake” at 9 got a 0.8/2 and 3.6 million viewers.

NBC and Univision tied for fourth in ratings, each with a 1.1/3. NBC was fourth in viewers with 3.3 million, and Univision was fifth with 2.7 million.

For NBC, “Community” at 8 tied a series low with a 1.0/3 and had 2.8 million viewers. “Parks and Recreation” at 8:30 had a 1.2/4 and 2.9 million viewers. “Hollywood Game Night” got a 1.1/3 and 3.3 million viewers. “Parenthood” at 10 received a 1.2/4 and 3.8 million viewers.

The CW was sixth in ratings with a 0.8/3 and 2 million viewers. “Vampire Diaries” at 8 had a 1.0/3 and 2.2 million viewers. “Reign” at 9 got a 0.7/2 and 1.8 million viewers.

Telemundo was seventh in ratings with a 0.5/2 and in total viewers with 1.3 million.
