Relationship sitcom soars on the backs of Kendra Wilkinson, Kirstie Alley and the rest of the celebrity hoofers, who were up 15 percent

ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" boosted a special Monday-night airing of romantic sitcom "Better With You" in a major way, according to overnight ratings data.

Moved to Monday at 9:30 p.m. from its usual Wednesday 8:30 time period, where it follows "The Middle," the new comedy series from former "Friends" producer Shana Goldberg-Meehan scored a 2.6 rating/6 share in the 18-49 demo, a 63 percent bump from its performance last week.

"Dancing With the Stars" at 8 p.m. was  marked by Karina Smirnoff's unfortunate tumble, but there were no such trip-ups where the ratings were concerned

The 90-minute performance episode experienced a 15 percent boost in the adults 18-49 demo from last week, with a 4.5 /13 share and 21.8 million total viewers.

The network — which easily won the night — closed out the evening with a repeat of "Castle," which took a 1.6/4 in the demo and 7.6 million total viewers.
