Ratings: CBS’ Reruns Beat Everyone Else’s Reruns

Univision, airing originals, is second-highest rated network

CBS handily won a Thursday night when every network except Univision aired repeats. Univision was rewarded for its efforts with a second-place finish in the key demographic.

CBS was first in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demo with a 2.1 rating/6 share and in total viewers with 9.6 million. A rerun of "The Big Bang Theory" at 8 was the top-rated and most-watched show of the night with a 3.3/10 and 12 million total viewers. Those would be good numbers for an original, so they're especially impressive for a rerun.

Univision, which won Wednesday night in the key demo by airing originals while the English-language stations played mostly reruns, came in second Thursday in the key demo with a 1.7/5. It was second in total viewers Thursday with 4.1 million. At 8 p.m., “Por Ella Soy Eva” ("For Her I’m Eva") scored a 1.7/5 and 4.1 million total viewers. At 9, "Amores Verdaderos" ("True Love") scored a 1.9/5 and 4.6 million. At 10, "Amor Bravío” ("Fierce Love") had a 1.4/4 and 3.6 million.

ABC was third in ratings and total viewers with a .9/3 and 3.6 million. NBC was fourth in both with a .8/2 and 2.6 million. Fox was fifth with a .7/2 and 1.8 million.
