Ratings: ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Return Ties a Low – But Is Most-Watched Monday Show

NBC tops the night in ratings, ABC is No. 1 in viewers

ABC topped Monday in viewers, despite “Dancing With the Stars” tying a premiere low in ratings.

NBC easily took primetime in ratings with “The Voice” and “Blacklist.”

NBC was first in ratings with a 3.6 rating/10 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in viewers with an average of 12.6 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” at 8 p.m. was the highest-rated show of the night with a 4.0/12, and had 13.3 million viewers. “The Blacklist” at 10 received a 2.8/8 and 11.1 million viewers.

ABC was second in ratings with a 2.2/6 and first in viewers with 13.3 million. “Dancing With the Stars” at 8 premiered to a 2.5/7 — tying a low and down 22 percent from last spring — and 15 million viewers, the most of the night. “Castle” at 10 earned a 1.8/5 and 9.9 million viewers.

CBS was third in ratings with a 1.8/5 and in viewers with 6.7 million. “How I Met Your Mother” at 8 received a 2.9/9 and 7.9 million viewers. At 8:30, “2 Broke Girls” got a 2.1/6 — a series low — and 7.1 million viewers. “Mike & Molly” at 9 tied a low with a 1.8/5 and 7.6 million viewers. “Mom” at 9:30 had a 1.8/5 and 7.1 million viewers. “Intelligence” at 1.1/3 got a 5.3 million viewers.

Fox was fourth in ratings with a 1.4/4 and in viewers with 4.8 million. “Bones” at 8 had a 1.4/4 and 5.6 million viewers. “The Following” at 9 received a 1.4/4 and 4 million viewers.

Univision was fifth in ratings with a 1.0/3 and in total viewers with 2.5 million.

The CW and Telemundo tied for sixth in ratings, each with a 0.4/1. The CW edged out Telemundo for sixth in viewers with 1.10 million, Telemundo was seventh with and 1.09 million.

For The CW, “Star-Crossed” at 8 got a 0.3/1 and 1.1 million viewers. “The Tomorrow People” had a time period premiere at 9, when it received a 0.4/1 and 1.2 million viewers.
