Ratings: ABC Takes Top 2 Slots With ‘Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition’ and ‘The Bachelorette’

Reality show returns to fat numbers against repeat-heavy competition

ABC took the top two ratings spaces on Sunday night amid an evening that was loaded with repeats, according to preliminary numbers.

"The Bachelorette" — which premiered last week — from 8-10 p.m. garnered a 2.1 rating/6 share and 7 million total viewers. The series premiere of "Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition," meanwhile, jumped 28 percent compared to last year's premiere, taking a 2.3//6 in the demo and 7 million total viewers, drawing the evening's top numbers.
