Ratings: Gordon Ramsay Cooks Up a Fox Win; ‘Glass House’ Inches Up

NBC's "Fear Factor" and "American Ninja Warrior" both down in key demo

Gordon Ramsay's "Hell's Kitchen" and "MasterChef" gave Fox a ratings win Monday night, while ABC's new reality series "The Glass House" continued last week's trend of marginal improvement, according to preliminary numbers.

Though "Hell's Kitchen" remained flat with last week and "MasterChef" showed only slight growth, the two put Fox at the top of the ratings. Fox averaged a 2.4 rating/7 share in the advertiser-cherished 18-49 demographic, and took second place in total viewers, with 5.8 million. "Hell's Kitchen" at 8 p.m. and "MasterChef" the following hour tied for second place in the ratings, with the former drawing a 2.4/8 and the latter posting a 2.4/7. (They drew 5.9 million and 5.8 million total viewers, respectively.)

ABC drew second place in ratings and first in total viewers with a 2.0/6 and 6.4 million. "The Bachelorette" at 8 was the night's highest-rated and most-watched program, drawing even with last week for a 2.5/7 and taking 8 million total viewers. "Glass House" at 10 posted a 10 percent gain in the demo from last week — though slight overrun from "The Bachelorette" could affect the final numbers. it had a 1.1/3 and attracted 3.3 million total viewers.

CBS, which ran repeats throughout the evening, drew third place in ratings and total viewers with a 1.2/4 and 4.9 million.

Univision took fourth in ratings and total viewers with an average 1.3/4 and 3.6 million.

NBC came in fifth in ratings and total viewers with an average 1.1/3 and 3.4 million. "Fear Factor" at 8 dropped 13 percent from its last airing in February to a 1.3/4 — a low for the series — and took 4 million total viewers. "American Ninja Warrior" the following hour also fell, dropping 26 percent from its last original two weeks ago for a 1.4/4. It had 3.9 million total viewers. A "Grimm" repeat rounded out NBC's night.
