Ratings: ‘GCB’ Rebounds; ‘The Good Wife’ Goes Out on a Low

CBS' "NYC 22" continues its ratings decline from soft premiere

After hitting a series low two weeks ago, ABC's "GCB" saw a surge Sunday night and helped push the network to a ratings win, while CBS's "The Good Wife" ended its season by tying a series low, according to preliminary numbers.

ABC took first place in ratings and second in total viewers with an average 2.2 rating/6 share in the advertiser-friendly 18-49 demographic and 7.4 million total viewers. "America's Funniest Home Videos" at 7 p.m. was down 13 percent in the demo with a 1.4/5 and 6.7 million total viewers, while "Once Upon a Time" the following hour posted a 2.9/8 in the demo and 9 million total viewers. "Desperate Housewives" at 9 received a 2.5/6 in the demo and 8 million total viewers. "GCB" at 10 rebounded from its season low two weeks ago, growing 27 percent in the demo for a 1.9/5 with 5.7 million total viewers.

Fox came in second in ratings and fourth in total viewers with an average 1.9/5 in the demo and 4 million. Following a "Simpsons" repeat at 7, "The Cleveland Show" at 7:30 jumped 25 percent from its last original episode four weeks ago, taking a 1.5/5 in the demo and 3.1 million total viewers. "The Simpsons at 8 drew even with its last original two weeks ago for a 2.3/7 in the demo and 5 million total viewers, while "Bob's Burgers" at 8:30 was also flat with its last original two weeks ago, drawing a 1.9/5 in the demo and 4 million total viewers. "Family Guy" at 9 grew 12 percent from its last original four weeks ago with a 2.8/7 in the demo and 5.7 million total viewers. while a special airing of "The Cleveland Show" at 9:30 was down from an "American Dad" episode in the same time slot a month ago with a 1.9/5 and 4 million total viewers.

CBS came in third in ratings and first with total viewers with an average 1.6/4 and 8.9 million. The network saw ratings drops across the board, starting with "60 Minutes" at 7, which was down 33 percent from last week, hitting a season low of 1.2/4 with 9.8 million total viewers. "The Amazing Race" at 8 fell 15 percent to tie a season low of 2.2/6 with 8.4 million total viewers. "The Good Wife" at 9, which aired its season finale Sunday night, dropped 11 percent to tie a series low, hitting a 1.74 and 7.6 million total viewers — which made it the night's most-watched show. At 10, the network's new police drama "NYC 22," which hasn't fared well since its inauspicious premiere on April 15, dropped another 14 percent to a 1.2/3 in the demo and 7.6 million total viewers.

NBC drew fourth place in ratings and third in total viewers with an average 1.4/4 and 5.8 million. "Dateline" at 7 dropped 33 percent from last week for a 0.8/3 and 3.4 million total viewers, while "Harry's Law" the following hour was even with last week for a 0.9/2 and 7.4 million total viewers. "The Apprentice" at 9 dropped 10 percent from last week, receiving a 1.9/5 in the demo with 6.3 million total viewers.
