Ratings: ‘Good Wife’ Shocker Scores Top Ratings Since January

NBC’s “American Dream Builders” debuts soft

CBS was first  in ratings and viewers Sunday as a shocking episode of “The Good Wife” scored the show’s best ratings since January.

Though improved, “The Good Wife” ratings were still fairly low. What boosted CBS was NCAA basketball, which ran into 41 minutes of primetime. The sports numbers could change because live sports ratings a notoriously hard to track.

On NBC, meanwhile, “American Dream Builders” premiered to a soft 0.9 rating.

CBS had a a 2.1 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and 10.3 million total viewers, according to preliminary numbers.

At 7 p.m., the NCAA overrun earned the top numbers of the night with a 3.9/13 and 13.9 million viewers. The overrun merged with “60 Minutes” at 7:30 for a 3.1/10 and 13.1 million viewers. The continuation of the news magazine show at 8 got a 2.0/6 and 11 million viewers. At 8:30, “60 Minutes” ran into “The Amazing Race,” getting a 1.8/5 and 8.9 million viewers. At 9, the “Race” continuation got a 1.8/5 and 9.2 million viewers. The reality competition ran into “The Good Wife” at 9:30, which had a 1.5/4 and 8.5 million viewers. “The Good Wife” at 10 received a 1.4/4 and 9.3 million viewers. The drama concluded into “The Mentalist” at 10:30, which got a 1.2/3 and 8.2 million viewers.

ABC was second in ratings with a 1.9/5 and in viewers with 7.1 million. “America’s Funniest Home Videos” at 7 got a 1.3/4 and 6.7 million viewers. “Once Upon a Time” at 8 earned a 2.0/6 — down 17 percent from last week — and 6.6 million viewers. “Resurrection” at 9 received a 2.5/6 — down 19 percent — and 9.2 million viewers. “Revenge” at 10 had a 1.6/4 and 5.7 million viewers.

Fox was third in ratings with a 1.7/5 and fourth in viewers with 3.7 million. “Bob’s Burgers” at 7 had a 1.2/4 and 2.5 million viewers. “American Dad” at 7:30 got a 1.3/4 and 2.7 million viewers. “The Simpsons” at 8 received a 1.9/5 and 3.9 million viewers. “Family Guy” at 8:30 earned a 2.2/6 and 4.3 million viewers. “Cosmos” at 9 had a 1.7/4 and 4.2 million viewers.

NBC was fourth in ratings with a 1.0/3 and third in viewers with 4.3 million. Following a rerun, the premiere of “American Dream Builders” at 8 got a 0.9/2 and 3.6 million viewers. “Believe” at 9 had a 1.2/3 — down 20 percent from last week — and 5.1 million viewers. “Crisis” at 10 received a 1.3/3 — down 19 percent — and 5 million viewers.

Univision was fifth in ratings with a 0.8/2 and in total viewers with 2.2 million.

Telemundo was six in ratings with a 0.5/1 and in total viewers with 1.4 million.
