While the nature of live sports leaves the early numbers subject to significant revision, ABC currently holds the top spot in both ratings and total viewers with an average 4.8 rating/14 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and 11.5 million total viewers.

"Jimmy Kimmel Live; Game Night" at 7 p.m. posted a 1.9/8 with 5.2 million total viewers, while the pre-game show at 7:30 p.m. drew a 2.6/9 with 6.4 million total viewers. Game 3 itself, running from 8 to 11 p.m. on the East Coast, received a 5.6/16 in the demo — slightly higher than last year's Game 3 — and 13.4 million total viewers, easily making it the highest-rated and most-watched program of the evening.

NBC took a distant second place in ratings and total viewers with an average 2.1/6 and 8.8 million. The network ran the U.S. Open Golf Tournament from 7 to 10:30 on the East Coast. While, like ABC, the network's numbers are approximate due to the nature of live sports, the golf tournament currently shows a 2.3/7 in the demo with 9.5 million total viewers.

A post-game show, combined with a repeat of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers," at 10:30 received a 1.1/3 in the demo and drew 4 million total viewers.

Fox, which ran repeats throughout the night, took third place in ratings and fourth in total viewers with an average 1.2/4 and 2.7 million.

Univision came in fourth in ratings and fifth in total viewers with a 1.0/3 and 2.6 million.

CBS, which took fifth place in the demo and third in total viewers with an average 0.8/2 and 5.4 million, ran repeats throughout the night, with the exception of "60 Minutes" at 7, which posted a 1.0/4 and 7.3 million.
