Ratings: NBA Finals Score a Win for ABC; Gordon Ramsay Holds Steady for Fox

Miami Heat-Oklahoma City Thunder matchup inches up from last year's Game 4; Gordon Ramsay's "MasterChef" picks up viewers despite hoops competition

Game 4 of the NBA Finals handed ABC a decisive overall victory on Tuesday night, though it didn't make a dent in Fox's slate of Gordon Ramsay-related programming, according to preliminary numbers.

"Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night" at 8 p.m. posted a 2.5/9, flat with last year's equivalent airing, and drew 6.9 million total viewers, while "NBA Countdown" at 8:30 was on a par with last year's equivalent episode, drawing a 2.8/9 with 7.3 million total viewers.

The game between the Miami Heat and the Oklahoma City Thunder at 9 p.m. grew 9 percent from last year's Game 4, inching up to a 6.0/7, easily the night's best ratings performance, and 13.9 million total viewers, making it the night's most-watched program by far.

Fox took a distant second in ratings with a 2.1/6 and came in fourth in total viewers, averaging 5.2 million. Against ABC's basketball programming, "Hell's Kitchen" at 8 held steady with last week, taking a 2.2/7 and 5.3 million total viewers. "MasterChef," the following hour, dipped slightly in the ratings from last week, receiving a 2.0/6, but inched up in total viewership with 5 million total viewers.

NBC drew third place in ratings and total viewers with a 1.5/4 and 5.8 million. Its sole original program of the night, "Love in the Wild," dropped 13 percent from last week, taking a 1.3/4 and receiving 4.1 million total viewers.

Univision took fourth place in ratings and fifth in total viewers, averaging a 1.3/4 and 3.4 million for the night.

CBS, which ran repeats throughout the night, drew fifth place in ratings and second in total viewers with an average 1.2/4 and 7.1 million.
