Ratings: ‘Dancing’ Finale Down in Bad Night, But ABC’s Still Tops

“NCIS,” “X Factor” also down in night of declines

ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" was down significantly on a night marked by lower ratings almost all around, but it still pushed the network to an overall win for the night, according to preliminary numbers.

ABC's "Last Man Standing" at 8 increased slightly to a 2.7 rating/8 share in the adults 18-49 demographic and 9.3 million total viewers. "Man Up" at 8:30 grew 12 percent compared to last week, drawing a 1.9/5 in the demo and 6.7 million total viewers. "Dancing With the Stars" finale at 9, though, had the series' lowest-rated fall finale ever, and saw a 23 percent decline from last fall's send-off. But it still had the night's highest numbers with a 4.1/11 in the demo and 19.4 million total viewers, and was also the most-watched program of the night overall. Overall, ABC won the night in ratings in the demo and total viewers.
