The Olympics were down slighly from last Wednesday, while "Big Brother" dropped to tie a series low, according to preliminary numbers.
NBC's Olympics coverage took an easy first place in the advertiser-cherished 18-49 demographic with a 9.2 rating/27 share and in total viewers with 28.7 million. But the demo rating declined 5 percent from last Wednesday.
Univision grabbed second place in ratings and third in total viewers with a 1.4/4 and 3.7 million.
CBS took third in ratings and second in total viewers with a 1.2/3 and 4.4 million. The network aired repeats except for "Big Brother" at 8 p.m., which dropped 10 percent in the demo to tie a series low of 1.8/6. It drew 5.3 million total viewers.
ABC, which came in fourth in ratings and total viewers with a 0.9/3 and 2.8 million, also aired mostly repeats, save for "Final Witness" at 10, which climbed 14 percent in the demo to a 0.8/2 and grabbed 2.8 million total viewers.
Fox, which aired a "So You Think You Can Dance" repeat, drew fifth place in ratings and total viewers with a 0.7/2 and 1.9 million.
