Ratings: ‘Resurrection’ Finale Raises ABC to Demo Win

“60 Minutes” ties a series low

ABC topped Sunday night in ratings with its “Resurrection” season finale as CBS finished first in viewers.

For the latter, “60 Minutes” dropped to a series low. On the flip side, for Fox, “The Simpsons” ticked up with a special Lego episode.

ABC was first in ratings with a 1.7 rating/5 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in viewers with an average of 6.4 million, according to preliminary numbers. “America’s Funniest Home Videos” at 7 p.m. had a 1.6/6 and 6.2 million viewers. “Once Upon a Time” at 8 earned a 2.0/6 and 6.7 million viewers. “Resurrection” at 9 received a 2.0/6 and 7.9 million viewers. “Revenge” at at 10 tied a low with a 1.3/4, and had 5 million viewers.

Fox was second in ratings with a 1.6/5 and fourth in viewers with 3.6 million. “Bob’s Burgers” at 7 had a 1.1/4 and 2.3 million viewers. “American Dad” at 7:30 got a 1.3/4 and 2.6 million viewers. “The Simpsons” at 8 received a 1.9/6 — a 19 percent uptick — and 4.3 million viewers, a 26 percent increase. “Family Guy” at 8:30 earned a 2.2/7 — the highest rating of the night — and 4.4 million viewers. “Cosmos” at 9 had a 1.6/5 and 4.2 million viewers.

CBS was third in ratings with a 1.3/4 and first in viewers with 9 million. At 7, “60 Minutes” dipped 23 percent from last week and tied a series low with a 1.0/4, though it still had a night-leading 10.3 million viewers. “The Amazing Race” at 8 received a 1.7/5 and 8 million viewers. “The Good Wife” at 9 got a 1.2/3 and 9.1 million viewers. “The Mentalist” at 10 had a 1.2/4 — tying a series low — and 8.5 million viewers.

NBC and Univision tied for fourth in ratings, each with a 0.9/3. NBC was third in ratings with 3.9 million viewers; Univision was fifth with 2.4 million.

For NBC, “American Dream Builders” at 7 got a 0.5/2 and 2.2 million viewers. “Dateline” at 8 had a 1.0/3 and 5.5 million viewers. “Believe” at 9 received a 1.0/3 and 4.3 million viewers. “Crisis” at 10 got a 1.0/3 and 3.6 million viewers.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in viewers with 1.5 million.
