NBC's "The Voice" and "Revolution" powered NBC to an easy ratings win Monday, according to preliminary numbers.
The new CBS show "Partners," meanwhile, pulled much lower ratings than the rest of the network's comedy lineup, and Fox's new, ratings-challenged "Mob Doctor" turned in its lowest numbers so far.
NBC was the top-rated network, averaging a 4.0 rating/10 share in the key 18-49 demographic, and was the second-most watched, with 11 million.
"The Voice" at 8 p.m. increased very slightly from last week to a 4.5/11, which made it the top-rated show. It was also the most-watched with 12.3 million total viewers. "Revolution" at 10 was down slightly from last week's episode, posting a 3.2/8 and grabbing 8.4 million total viewers.
CBS drew a distant second in ratings and third in total viewers with a 2.6/7 and 7.8 million. "How I Met Your Mother" at 8 was down 11 percent to a 3.2/9, and had 8.2 million total viewers.
"Partners" at 8:30 dropped 13 percent from last week's series premiere, pulling a 2.1/5 and taking 5.7 million total viewers. "2 Broke Girls" at 9 dipped slightly from last week's season premiere for a 3.4/8 and drew 9 million total viewers, while "Mike & Molly" slipped from last week's season opener to a 2.9/7. It had 8.5 million total viewers. "Hawaii 5-0" at 10 inched up from last week to a 1.9/5 and posted 7.7 million total viewers.
ABC was third in ratings but first in total viewers with a 2.0/5 and 11.6 million. "Dancing With the Stars" at 8 dropped 20 percent from last week's premiere to a 2.0/5 — a low for the series, excluding specials. But it grabbed second place in total viewers with 12.2 million. "Castle" at 10 dropped 10 percent to tie its series low of 1.9/5 and attracted 10.3 million total viewers.
Fox came in fourth in ratings and total viewers with a 1.6/4 and 5.2 million. "Bones" at 8 declined slightly from last week to a 2.1/6 and received 6.9 million total viewers, while "The Mob Doctor" the following hour dropped 23 percent from last week to a 1.0/2. It had 3.5 million total viewers.
On the CW front, the network's broadcast of the "iHeartRadio Music Festival" from 8 to 10 yielded the highest numbers for the network since May. Though the numbers are likely to be adjusted later today due to a preemption in Chicago for the Bears game, the network currently boasts a 0.7/2 in the 18-34 demographic and 1.7 million total viewers, the highest performances since the "Supernatural" finale and the "Vampire Diaries" finale, respectively.
