Porsha Williams’ attorney Joe S. Habachy has addressed the fallout over an alleged violent incident that occurred during the taping of the reunion for Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” He also says his client will pursue felony charges against castmate Kenya Moore.

An arrest warrant for Williams was filed on Wednesday and she surrendered to authorities the same day. Williams was released later on a $2000 bond after being charged with one misdemeanor count of simple battery.

“Cast member Kenya Moore sought out the warrant and, although the claim is unfounded, Ms. Williams fully cooperated with investigators and looks forward to clearing her name,” Habachy said in a statement to TheWrap.

He continued, “Furthermore, several cast mates and witnesses report that it was clear that Kenya Moore was undoubtedly the primary aggressor in the incident. Thus, Ms. Williams, who has never been arrested before, intends to contest the pending misdemeanor and to pursue felony charges against Kenya for aggravated assault.”

Castmate NeNe Leakes said on Sunday’s “Watch What Happens Live” that she felt Moore “kept trying Porsha.”

“I felt like Kenya violated [Porsha] over and over again,” Leakes told host Andy Cohen. “Now, I am not condoning violence. I’m just simply saying you can’t violate and not expect something, you understand?”

A representative for Moore declined to comment for this article.

Bravo has also started teasing the fight in trailers for the reunion specials, which begin airing on Sunday.
