‘Real Housewives’ Star Teresa Giudice Reports to Prison for 15-Month Sentence

The Bravolebrity, who is an original cast member of the “New Jersey” franchise, is serving her time in Connecticut

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice has reported to prison for her 15-month sentence.

Giudice arrived Monday at Connecticut’s Danbury Federal Prison, the correction facility featured in the popular Netflix series “Orange is the New Black.”

A low-key Giudice got to Connecticut at 3 a.m. without her husband, Joe Giudice, according to TMZ.

The reality star, known for her short-temper and lavish lifestyle, was convicted with her husband of mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud in a New Jersey federal court on Oct. 2  TheWrap previously reported that Joe Giudice also plead guilty to a count of failing to file a tax return was sentenced to 41 months. The couple will serve their sentences separately, allowing them to take care of their four daughters.

Leading up to her sentence, Giudice appeared on television expressing shock over the sentencing. She focused on her children’s well-being.

“That’s all I think about is them” Giudice told Bravo host Andy Cohen on “What What Happens Live. “They’re my life. I live for them. I really do.”
