The half-hour show about Mexican cowboys from Corral 360 will go into production in July

“Los Cowboys,” a new half-hour reality series set to debut this fall on Hulu, will focus on urban charros — or Mexican cowboys — from Los Angeles as they work to qualify for the Mexican National Rodeo Finals.

Corral 360 says the show will follow a group of charros as they juggle their commitments to their families, careers and their passion for the art of Charreria, the Mexican rodeo. The sport includes events such as as bull riding, wild bronc jumping, horse reining and trick roping.

The English-language series goes into production in July, and will premiere in October 2014.

“Los Cowboys” is created by executive producer Alex Corral. It’s the first series produced under his production company Corral 360, which is also developing other scripted and reality series specifically targeted towards Hispanic millennial audiences.
