Instead of blowing out candles, Rebel Wilson is celebrating her birthday fending off dogs on the set of “Pitch Perfect 3.”
“Happy Birthday to me,” the actress captioned the video of her wearing a black protective suit while two dogs claw away at her arms. At some points, she is close to losing her composure and giving in to the canines. Throughout the shoot, she can be heard screaming, “Seriously?”
Trish Sie will direct the third film in the franchise, which will star Wilson, Brittany Snow, Anna Kendrick, Hailee Steinfeld and Anna Camp.
“Pitch Perfect 2” became the highest-grossing movie musical opening of all time, and its follow-up will be produced by Paul Brooks of Gold Circle Entertainment. “PP2” director-star Elizabeth Banks will stay on to produce with husband Max Handelman.
“Pitch Perfect 2” grossed more than $250 million worldwide — more than double the original’s $115 million gross.
Wilson recently starred in “Absolutely Fabulous,” “The Brothers Grimsby” and “How to Be Single,” and her project “Nasty Women” was recently announced.
“Pitch Perfect 3” will open on December 22.
