Ratings: 'Resurrection' More Than Doubles 'Believe,' 'Crisis' Starts Soft

ABC tops ratings, CBS wins in viewers

ABC topped Sunday in ratings with another strong showing from “Resurrection,” while the NBC's regular-time-period premiere for “Believe” and the debut for “Crisis” were both soft. CBS topped the night in viewers.

ABC was first in ratings with a 2.1 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in viewers with an average of 7.7 million, according to preliminary numbers. “America's Funniest Home Videos” at 7 p.m. had a 1.4/5 and 6.2 million videos. “Once Upon a Time” at 8 earned a 2.3/6 and 7.5 million viewers. “Resurrection” at 9 received a 3.0/8 — a 21 percent dip from the premiere — and 10.8 million viewers. It was the highest-rated show of the night. “Revenge” at 10 had a 1.7/5 and 6.2 million viewers.

Fox was second in ratings with a 1.7/5 and fourth in viewers with 3.9 million. “Bob's Burgers” at 7 got a 1.1/4 — up 22 percent from last week — and had 2.5 million viewers. The time period premiere of “American Dad” at 7:30 had a 1.3/4 and 2.8 million viewers. “The Simpsons” at 8 received a 1.9/5 and 4 million viewers. “Family Guy” at 8:30 earned a 2.3/6 and 4.6 million viewers. “Cosmos” at 9 got a 1.9/5 and 4.9 million viewers.

CBS and NBC tied for third in ratings, each with a 1.5/4. CBS was first in viewers with 9.1 million, and NBC was third with 5.9 million.

For CBS, “60 Minutes” at 7 received a 1.7/6 and 11 million viewers — the most viewers of the night. “Amazing Race” at 8 earned a 1.8/5 and 8.3 million viewers. “The Good Wife” at 9 had a 1.3/3 and 8.4 million viewers. “The Mentalist” at 10 got a 1.3/4 and 8.7 million viewers.

For NBC, following a rerun, the time period premiere of “Believe” at 9 got a 1.4/4 and 6.5 million viewers. The debut of “Crisis” at 10 received a 1.6/4 and 6.5 million viewers.

Univision was fifth in ratings with a 0.8/2 and in total viewers with 2.3 million.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.5/2 and 1.5 million viewers.

    RESURRECTION is exciting show. Don't know if they can keep the excitment going, but it is “tops” now.

    Believe started as an exciting show with good plot twists. Hope it picks up viewers as it appealed more to me than Resurrection.

    Have to agree with elerry. Finally saw the premiere of Resurrection over the weekend, but found it to be very slow and boring. Believe is also slow, but a bit less boring to watch.
    I was hoping for better for Crisis. Hopefully viewership on this show will pick up.
