The second season of the Netflix mockumentary returns in May
Ricky Gervais returns as the infectiously-kind retirement home worker in the first look at the upcoming second season of Netflix's British dramedy, “Derek.”
Gervais returns as the overly-positive Derek Noakes, along with his comedic partner-in-crime Karl Pilkington as the landlord Dougie. And David Earl and Kerry Godliman are back as Derek's co-workers at Broadhill — the fictitious retirement home featured in the series.
The new trailer focuses on life as usual for Derek and his life at the retirement home, until his estranged father moves in and Derek is forced to mend his fractured relationship with him.
The second season of “Derek” premieres on Fri., May 31 on Netflix.
