Shorts put musical spin on classic nursery rhymes and fairy tales

Rock Mafia and poetry slam champion IN-Q have teamed up to create “Rhythm and Rhymes,” a new series of music shorts for Disney Junior.

In an exclusive video obtained by TheWrap, the team takes on the classic story of the three little pigs, but add a fresh, musical spin to the story about building things to last.

Rock Mafia wrote and produced Selena Gomez‘s multi-platinum smash, “The Heart Wants What it Wants,” and their latest hit, “Beautiful Now” with Zedd featuring Jon Bellion, is fast approaching top 10 on Top 40 airplay.

As a poet and rapper, IN-Q, who wrote the multi-platinum hit “Love You Like a Love Song,” and has shared the stage with John Legend, Eminem, De La Soul and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

“Rhythm and Rhymes” launches on Sept. 12 along with the premiere of new animated series, “Goldie & Bear.”
