The MSNBC host's mother Mia Farrow also snubbed the director on Twitter
Taking a cue from mother Mia, rising MSNBC host Ronan Farrow slammed director Woody Allen on Twitter during his Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award presentation on Sunday night's Golden Globe's broadcast.
Missed the Woody Allen tribute – did they put the part where a woman publicly confirmed he molested her at age 7 before or after Annie Hall?
— Ronan Farrow (@RonanFarrow) January 13, 2014
Mia Farrow had tweeted just before the segment that she was turning away to watch HBO's “Girls” rather than watch the glowing tribute to her ex-longtime partner, who famously married Farrow's adopted daughter, Soon Yi Previn.
For the record: A previous version of this story incorrectly characterized the relationships between Farrow and Allen, as well as Allen and Soon Yi Previn. TheWrap regrets the error.
