‘R.I.P.D.’ Clips: Ryan Reynolds Joins Jeff Bridges for Wild West Gunslinging (Video)

A deceased ex-Boston cop heads back to his hometown to take care of unfinished business… as an old Chinese guy

Ryan Reynolds is a dead man — in "R.I.P.D.," that is.

In three new clips for the upcoming film, Reynolds and Jeff Bridges play dead cops who work for the Rest in Peace Department. Nick Walker (Reynolds) also has a side project: Finding the man who murdered him.

Walker elects to be sent back to Boston to serve the department for a century, and appears to the living world as an elderly Chinese man (James Hong). His partner, Roy Pulsipher (Bridges), is easy on the eyes in the afterlife. His avatar is played by Marisa Miller.

"R.I.P.D." also stars Mary-Louise Parker, Kevin Bacon and Mike O'Malley. The film comes out in 3D on July 19.
