Sam Jackson, Luke Wilson & Leslie Bibb Will Be ‘Meeting Evil’

Chris Fisher (“S. Darko”) will direct the adaptation of Thomas Berger’s 1992 novel

Samuel L. Jackson, Luke Wilson and Leslie Bibb will star in the Motion Picture Corporation of America's indie thriller "Meeting Evil," reports Scene Magazine.

Chris Fisher ("S. Darko") will direct the adaptation of Thomas Berger's 1992 novel.

Wilson will play a depressed real estate agent who has recently been fired from his job. After crossing paths with a mysterious stranger (Jackson) in need of his help, the duo embark on a day-long crime spree during which they develop a curiously symbiotic relationship, with Wilson's character ultimately discovering his dark side.

Bibb will play Wilson's wife in the film, which will be the second MPCA project to shoot in Louisiana following Jackson's "The Killing Game" last summer.

Wilson is coming off one of the best performances of his career in George Gallo's "Middle Men." The actor recently starred in Neil La Bute's remake of "Death at a Funeral," and he's currently filming Nick Cassavetes' "Yellow."

"Meeting Evil" is scheduled to start production on Jan. 8 in New Orleans.
