Samuel L. Jackson didn’t join the recent rash of feuds between stars on Twitter, opting instead to get into it with a fan on social media.
Radio DJ Fitz, (real name: Cory Fitzner), tweeted at the actor, “That moment when you meet one of your favorite actors & they are a COMPLETE DI**!!!!!!!!! What an arrogant PUNK! Right @SamuelLJackson ????”
Jackson wasn’t having any of it, responding, “I refused the photo politely @FollowFITZ then you spazzed out! Learn to say Please & Fuck You! Thanks for the Whitney snitch!!”
“@SamuelLJackson SPAZZED OUT?” Fitz responded. “You are forgetting we had people with us. If telling you I’m a Huge Fan is spazzing out then you got me.”
Again, “The Hateful Eight” actor responded, “I said, thanks but no @FollowFITZ, you said Aww C’mon, I’m a big fan, me, sorry, you, I watch all your movies but not anymore! Now @FollowFITZ, do you see Please anywhere in that exchange? You saw it your way, I see it mine. Stop whining, it’s over!”
On Sunday, the DJ posted a video to his Facebook page where he explained his exchange with what he characterized as one of his idols.
“I just had a big letdown of my life,” he said. “There was no altercation. There was no situation … It ruined my day.”
Jackson tweeted at the DJ, telling him that he watched the video.
“You’re right @FollowFITZ, I watched,” Jackson said. “There’s a lot of folks that share your experience w/ me & tons of others just the opposite! Still a Fan.”
