Sandra Bernhard Lands ‘Groovy’ Guest Stint on ‘Switched at Birth’

The actress, singer and comedienne will play a professor on the ABC Family drama

Sandra Bernhard will be handing out some offbeat lessons on ABC Family’s “Switched at Birth.”

The actress, singer and comedienne Teresa Lubarsky, a groovy art professor at a local college where Bay (Vanessa Marano) is taking classes.

Bernhard’s many credits include “Roseanne,” “The L Word” and “The Neighbors.”

The casting follows already announced Season 3 guest star, RJ Mitte, who will play a pre-med student who’s paralyzed by a snowboarding accident.

ABC Family renewed the series back in July for a third season, which debuts in January.

Alongside Marano, the series stars Katie Leclerc, Constance Marie, D.W. Moffett, Lea Thompson, Lucas Grabeel, Sean Berdy and recurring guest star Marlee Matlin.
