Sarah Palin Hosting Sportsman Channel Show ‘Amazing America’

Fans of “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” rejoice!

Sarah Palin has found a new outlet for her “Mama Grizzly” brand.

The former Republican vice presidential candidate will return to series television courtesy of the Sportsman Channel in a new program entitled “Amazing America with Sarah Palin.” Palin has become a small screen fixture since leaving elected office and resigning as Alaska governor during her first term.

In addition to providing commentary for Fox News, she hosted “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” for Discovery Communications.  Her new Sportsman Channel weekly series will premiere in April 2014. It will employ an anthology format as Palin connects with people and pastimes associated with the outdoors — things like hunting, fishing and steering clear of the Healthcare.gov website.

“I’m excited to help shine a light on all the great American sportsmen and women in the country who live the outdoors lifestyle,” Palin said in a statement.

The Sportsman Channel has ordered 12 episodes of “Amazing America,” which will air weekly.
