Bernie Sanders is getting a shoutout from some of Hollywood’s biggest comics.

Sarah Silverman, Kevin Nealon, George Lopez, Jeff Garlin and Paul Rodriguez will be headlining a fundraiser for the Democratic presidential candidate at Hollywood’s famed Laugh Factory on Tuesday night (1/26).

A club spokesperson said the Laugh Factory’s phone has been ringing off the hook ever since they announced the event, organized by Artists for Bernie.

Demand has been so high, that the club plans two shows, one at 5 p.m. and another at 8 p.m.

The first showing will stream live on the Laugh Factory’s YouTube page.

“[Laugh Factory founder] Jamie Masada is backing Sanders,” the club’s publicist, Patrick Lee told TheWrap. “Sanders is helping the neglected needs of lots of Americans.”

Lee says there are more famous guests expected to show up, though he declined to name names.

Sanders has a substantial following in Hollywood which includes A-list names like Zoë Kravitz, daughter of music legend Lenny Kravitz, Fun drummer Will Noon, actor and singer-songwriter Brendan Hines, Justin LongNikki Reed, “Supergirl” star Mehcad Brooks, “Hangover” star Justin BarthaEzra Miller, Seth MacFarlane, Danny DeVito, Susan SarandonWill Ferrell, and Ryan Gosling.

Sanders will not be attending, as he is campaigning in Iowa.

The Vermont senator was in Los Angeles in October for a spree of fundraisers.
