Ink Master Season 4 – Scott

Scott Marshall, the winner of Spike’s reality competition series “Ink Master” Season 4, died over the weekend. He was 41.

“Spike and [the] entire Ink Master family are stunned and saddened by the news of Scott’s passing,” the network said in a statement. “He was a great competitor and talented artist. Our deepest condolences go out to the Marshall family and friends.”

The tattoo artist beat out Walter “Sausage” Frank and Matti Hixson for the $100,000 grand prize. He was also featured in Inked magazine.

Marshall’s wife Johanna told TMZ that he spent Saturday night in a hotel near his studio after calling to say he wasn’t feeling well enough to drive home. Two police officers came to her home Sunday to inform her that her husband died in his sleep.

The show’s host, Dave Navarro, also offered his condolences to Marshall’s family Tuesday on Twitter. “I am very sad to report that Inkmaster and friend Scott Marshall has passed away. My condolences to his family.”
