Screen Media Gets ‘Lifted’ for North America

The military drama is set for platform release in March 2011

liftedIndie distributor Screen Media Films has acquired all domestic rights for Lexi Alexander's military drama "Lifted."

The film follows a young boy from Alabama who takes part in a singing competition in order to help his mother after his Marine reservist father is recalled to active duty in Afghanistan. It has received endorsements from several military support orgnaizations.

A platform theatrical release is planned for March 2011.
