Seagal’s ‘Lawman’ Show Suspended Over Sex Lawsuit

Sheriff says his continued participation on the force would be a distraction

Production of "Steven Seagal Lawman" has been suspended indefinitely while the action star deals with a sexual harassment lawsuit, authorities in suburban New Orleans said Wednesday.

Jefferson Parish police, for whom Seagal serves as a reserve deputy, said at a Wednesday press conference that continued taping would be "a distraction" to the force. Authorities don’t plan to investigate the allegations unless his accuser, Kayden Nguyen, files a criminal complaint.

Marty Singer, Seagal’s attorney, on Tuesday called the allegations "a complete fabrication" and that Nguyen was fired for using illegal drugs.

Her lawsuit, filed Monday in Los Angeles, accuses Seagal of hiring her as an administrative assistant, but then sexually assaulting her after putting her in the company of young women whose real job was to serve his strange and sometimes violent sexual desires.
