Former White House spokesperson Sean Spicer has turned down an offer to appear on “Dancing With the Stars,” according to TMZ.

The gossip site reported on Thursday that Spicer turned down the offer due to an “overwhelming number of commitments in the Fall,” citing unnamed sources “close to Spicer.”

ABC had no comment on the report, saying the cast for the upcoming season would be announced closer to the premiere date of Sept. 18.

The news comes a week after Page Six first reported that the former press secretary was being “courted” by the ABC dancing competition. Page Six also reported that Spicer was seen “coming out of high-level meetings at ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox News.”

Spicer stepped down from his post within the Trump Administration following last month’s hiring of Anthony Scaramucci, a Wall Street guy-turned-short lived White House Communications Director.

Before his resignation, however, Spicer provided plenty of fodder to TV’s late-night hosts, as well as multiple opportunities for some pitch-perfect “SNL” lampooning courtesy of Melissa McCarthy.
