George, Elaine, Jerry, Kramer and all of the fan favorites from the NBC show will be included in the 42-icon set
Worlds are colliding!
Sixteen years after going off the air, “Seinfeld” is expected to live again on iOS in the form of 42 emojis.
Jason Richards, the guy behind the “Seinfeld” Twitter account that imagines what the hit NBC sitcom would be like if it existed in the present day, previewed several of the adorable little icons. Once downloaded to an iPhone, they can be used in virtually any digital capacity.
The emoji set included not only portraits of George, Elaine, Jerry, and Kramer, but also recurring fan favorites like the Soup Nazi and Jackie Chiles, attorney at law.
Take a look at 18 of the emojis below:
TBS recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of “Seinfeld” by airing 25 of the show's most highly acclaimed episodes. The marathon included the famed Junior Mint episode. Fittingly, the candy is also included in the emoji set.
According to The Guardian, Richards is working with graphic designer Kevin McCauley to create the app, which may be available for download in the Apple Store as soon as mid-July.
