Not even dogs can escape the internet’s backlash machine.
Bored pet owners across the world have begun posting funny photos of their dogs putting on their most adorably guilty faces, alongside signs explaining each dog’s sins — which generally include peeing on carpets and chewing on things. Sites like DogShaming.com have become quite popular in a certain subsection of the internet, but as Seth Meyers noted on Monday night, the crimes these dogs commit are generally pretty tame, and probably only worthy of a slap on the paw.
So, his staff got to work finding dogs that are guilty of far worse offenses. Most worrisome was the pup that convinced George W. Bush that we should go to war in Iraq. On the plus side, we now know there is such a thing as dog court to hold these animals accountable.
