Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne appeared together for the first time since their reported split on Thursday to announce that their heavy metal festival, Ozzfest, will be returning to the U.S. for the first time since 2010.
Reports first emerged Sunday that the couple were splitting up after 33 years of marriage, and the rumors were confirmed by Sharon on Tuesday during an episode of “The Talk.” Sharon welcomed Ozzy onstage and briefly embraced him before thanking the fans for their continued support.
Ozzy Osbourne has been managed by his wife since splitting with Black Sabbath back in 1979.
On Thursday, the couple announced together that Ozzfest will merge with Knotfest, the festival managed by heavy metal band Slipknot, for a two day event in San Bernardino, California, on September 24-25. Ozzfest will take place on the first day of the event, with Black Sabbath as the headliner. Other bands slated to appear at the festival include Slayer, Megadeth, Black Label Society, Disturbed, and Sabaton. Tickets go on sale next Friday
