Shirley Jones and Marty Ingels are developing a reality TV show that the colorful husband-and-wife team hope can capture the love for geriatric comedy brought on by Betty White, TheWrap has learned.

Produced by Fremantle, the show featuring the long-married couple has already been shopped around and is being bid on by at least three networks, a person close to the project told TheWrap.

Jones, 76, an Academy Award-winner for her supporting role in "Elmer Gantry" and television icon as the matriarch of "The Partridge Family," will celebrate her 33rd wedding anniversary with Ingels in November. The 74-year-old Ingels is himself a longtime comedic actor, theatrical agent and voice of well-known cartoons, including the title character in the popular 1980s "Pac-Man."

The couple are known for their quirky, odd-couple relationship, a dynamic that came out last year during a joint appearance on "The View." It was that appearance that spurred on the idea of a reality show, which was optioned the day after the episode aired and began shooting almost immediately, TheWrap was told.
