“The Simpsons” are going interstellar.
In a new biblical, sci-fi themed promo for the show’s cable premiere on FXX, the network has released a promo that shows everyone’s favorite cartoon family taking over the universe, quite literally.

Every episode of “The Simpsons” will air on FXX over 12 consecutive days, culminating in the airing of “The Simpsons Movie.”
FXX won a bidding war in November for the off-network rights to “The Simpsons,” which has aired on its broadcast cousin, Fox, since 1989. The deal, the biggest ever of its kind, gave FXX the right to all 552 episodes of the series.
The “EVERY. ‘SIMPSONS.’ EVER.” marathon begins August 21st at 10/9c a.m. on FXX.
