Sheen Latest: WBTV Lawyers Up

Update: Now the lawyers start getting to work as “Two and a Half Men” star says he’s off to earthquake-ravaged nation with his Oscar-winning old friend

Update 3:32 p.m.

Warner Bros. TV has confirmed to TheWrap that it has hired well-respected attorneys Ron Olson and John Spiegel to handle the studio's legal battle with Charlie Sheen.

The "Two and a Half Men" actor's lawyer, Marty Singer, wrote to Warner Bros. TV, producers of the hit sitcom, on Monday, demanding that he be paid for the remainder of the cancelled season.

Warner Bros. and CBS put the series on hold Jan. 28 after Sheen announced he was starting rehab, and cancelled the series after the actor ripped creator Chuck Lorre in a radio interview.

The Hollywood Reporter first reported the attorneys' hiring.

Update 3:21 p.m.

Charlie Sheen told "Access Hollywood" on Fiday that he's planning a trip to Haiti with actor Sean Penn.

According to Sheen, “We’re going to do a couple things first and then it looks like we’re heading down [to Haiti]. And I’m excited as hell because, you know, if I can bring the attention of the world down there, then clearly this tsunami keeps cresting.”

Penn has been instrumental in bringing relief to the relief to the earthquake-stricken island nation.

Sheen also said that — despite being accused of making anti-Semitic remarks about "Two and a Half Men" producer Chuck Lorre — he's actually half-Jewish. Said the actor, 45, “My mom is Jewish. Here’s where it gets confusing – we don’t know who her father was. But she is, in fact, Jewish. So, I guess that would make me Jewish, and my children Jewish. And Brooke [Mueller], my ex-wife is Jewish. So, I guess I should’ve rolled all that out too.”

Previously…

Charlie Sheen is becoming the dark prince of all media.

Sirius XM Radio announced Friday it will devote a new, temporary station to nothing but Sheen coverage. (It will be, in other words, like every other TV and radio station.)

Dr. Drew Pinsky of VH1's "Celebrity Rehab," meanwhile, will host "Charlie Sheen: Winning… or Losing It? With Dr. Drew" on Monday.

Funny title, Dr. Drew. But Sheen probably won't watch. He said on "Piers Morgan Live" on Monday that Pinsky should be "ashamed" of saying on HLN that Sheen was "clearly manic" without personally evaluating him.

Spike TV, meanwhile, will team with Taiwanese company NMA, creator of those odd computer animated videos, to produce "Charlie Sheen's Winningest Moments." It will air at 10:30 p.m. next Wednesday, when this will all still be funny, the network hopes.

Sirius XM's "Tiger Blood Radio," which will air for just 24 hours, will including "breaking news, facts, fallout and career implications of the Charlie Sheen controversy." It will include archival clips of several women who have had relationsips with Sheen, including Bree Olson, one of his two live-in "goddess" girlfriends.

The only thing it won't have? Sheen, who talked this week with countless news outlets, from major TV networks to a Philadelphia radio station that got him to call in by flying a banner over his house.

Of course, it's entirely possible that he'll call into "Tiger Blood Radio" at some point. He's Charlie Sheen.

The station will air from Saturday at 6 a.m. ET until Sunday at the same time on Sirius channel 108 and XM channel 139.
