The Situation Denies He’s in Rehab for Substance Abuse

A rep for “Jersey Shore” star Mike “The Situation” says “he is not in a rehab facility for substance abuse”

"Jersey Shore" star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino denies a TMZ.com report that he is in a rehab facility for substance abuse.

Publicist Cindy Guagenti said Sorrentino has spent "the past several weeks at an undisclosed location for much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule."

She did not immediately respond to a query from TheWrap about whether her denial that he was being treated for substance abuse also covered alcohol abuse.

Sorrentino's brother, Marc Sorrentino, told TheWrap, "Michael is getting some much needed rest and relaxation … that's about it. I know there's conflicting reports out there, but, I'm sorry, I can't help the rumor mill."
