TLC’s “Skin Tight” subject Megan thinks of her own body as “gross,” likening it to “putty.”
In the above preview clip from this evening’s episode, the 34-year-old walks viewers through her lengthy morning routine, which includes baby powder and compression clothing.
“Everyday, I think about the next day,” she says in the sneak peek, which is exclusive to TheWrap. “What am I gonna hide behind the next day? And I just don’t want to hide anymore.”
Megan still fights the demons of being bullied when she was morbidly obese in high school, per TLC. After graduating, she had the lap-band procedure that helped her lose weight, but complications with the lap-band may now jeopardize her skin removal surgery.
Tonight’s show also follows Ashley, a 24-year-old social worker, who is suffering from joint pain caused by her excess skin when she exercises. Though she is loved by her long-time boyfriend, she cannot handle her arms and legs being seen in public and desperately needs the surgery to move forward with her life.
