Sofia Vergara May Join ‘The Three Stooges’ — No, She’s Not Moe

Don’t worry — the Colombian beauty is not going to be a stooge. Will Sasso plays Curly and Sean Hayes is Larry

Sofia Vergara, the Colombian beauty who stars in ABC's "Modern Family," is talking to Fox about joining the cast of the Farrelly Brothers' "The Three Stooges," TheWrap has confirmed.

She has not been offered a role, but is looking at the role of Lydia.

It is almost certain that Will Sasso, who plays the role of Curly, will say, "whoo whoo whoo whoo whoo" upon seeing Vergara's character in the Twentieth Century Fox comedy.

Sean Hayes has the role of Larry.

The part of Moe remains to be filled.

Bobby and Peter Farrelly are directing, writing and producing. Mike Cerrone is writing and Bradley Thomas and Charles B. Wessler are producing.

Vergara also stars in New Line's ensemble comedy "New Year's Eve," which is currently filming.

Vergara is repped by WME.

Variety first reported the news.
