Sony Pictures Animation has named Michelle Raimo-Kouyate president of production.
Reporting to Bob Osher, president of digital productions for Sony, Raimo-Kouyate joins the studio from DreamWorks Animation, where she was serving as executive producer of the upcoming "Shrek" spinoff "Puss in Boots."
"Michelle is an extraordinarily talented executive who loves both the art and artistry of animation and understands that superior storytelling must always come first," Osher said in a statement.
